Our Team Name

When coming up with our team’s name, we asked everyone to come up with a few different possibilities. We then put it up to a vote, and eventually decided upon the name 'fully-developed'. Not only was this a name we felt comfortable using in case any future employers would see it but we felt that it encapsulated the end result of the process of becoming IT professionals with our end goal being 'fully-developed' in our learning and subject knowledge. We also saw it as the end goal of any project we build. We are aspiring to have our work developed to its full potential as well as growing ourselves during this project timeline.

Aidan is from Victoria; he has no prior experience in the world of IT outside of using it in his daily life. Learning IT is a whole new thing for him and it is exciting as it is opening up a whole new way to view technology. Saying that, he has always been good at using technology which made him vital when it components to fixing things for family. When he isn't helping people or studying, he enjoys playing video games, reading and learning new things.
Gesina Sands

Gesina is a classical pianist and teacher with over ten years of experience in the education sector. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Music specialising in Classical Piano Performance. With little IT experience and no formal qualifications in this subject area, this degree is a completely new and exciting venture that will open a whole new world of learning and discovery. Previously, she has played around with building websites for friends and family using applications and technologies such as WordPress, Xampp, MySQL and CodeAcademy. Gesina loves reading books in her spare time and when time allows it, training in mixed martial arts. Most of all she loves spending time with her husband and 8-month-old daughter.
Liane Wong

Liane is from Perth, Western Australia. She has a Bachelor's degree of Commerce majoring in Accounting. She currently works as an executive assistant at a cloud-based software firm. She has some experience in product testing and is passionate about agile methodologies. Her hobbies include crochet, sewing, gardening and playing computer games. Liane's goal in this course is to be more immersed in the world of Information Technology, and is an aspiring software developer.
Purdey Eades

Purdey is a learning & development professional with over ten years of training coordination experience. Despite a lack of IT qualifications (aside from an expert level proficiency in the use of google & help functions), Purdey has always been the resident IT help desk for friends, family & colleagues. When she isn't tinkering with a website, editing a document or building online training materials, Purdey loves spending time exercising her creative talents by decorating cakes or painting kindness rocks with her family in the NT.
Samuel Drew

Samuel is from Ballarat, Victoria. He has a Bachelors Degree in Visuals Arts, majoring in ceramics. He currently works as a secondary school technology teacher and has been in teaching for the past 20 years. His IT interests involves creative programming, web development and the use of blockchain technologies. He has experience with website building, Arduino projects and creative work with Processing 3. When not working he loves learning Korean, making pottery, gardening and walking the dog.
