Colin Bruce Stock was born in Ceduna, South Australia, in 1992. His parents were both born in Australia, and he has a brother who is four years younger. He graduated from high school in 2009, and instead of university, he decided to look for a job. He was an apprentice baker, which was enjoyable, and Colin then spent the next 11 years working as a baker. His favourite hobbies include anime and gaming, specifically MMORPGs. He has not acquired any IT experience; however, his interest in pursuing IT for a long time has encouraged him to take the next step towards his goal. It took so long because he never knew the right way to start, and the structure of the university, as well as an acknowledged degree at the end, was decided as his best move. IT has always fascinated Colin the way it changes almost every aspect of life in this modern world, from agriculture to healthcare to business.

Michail Christofis is an Australian who currently resides in Cyprus. He speaks fluent English and Greek, is learning Russian and knows a bit of French. The Cypriot culture is diverse, as it encompasses parts of the cultures of the plethora of nations, which have colonized the island in the past. Cyprus has previously been colonized by Ottomans, Venetians, British, and Greeks, all of which have added to the Cypriot culture in cuisine, language, and way of thought, hence making Cypriots truly cosmopolitan. He has also been heavily influenced by the Australian culture, as that is where his roots lie, giving him a unique perspective on life.

“Thus far, I have completed secondary education and feel eager to start my journey in the world of academia. Moreover, I have also accumulated some work experience over the past three years by working part-time for an IT company in Cyprus. IT has always been one of my favourite subjects, and I had loved every moment I had spent learning it, from the first days when I studied IT in order to take part in national competitions in informatics, till later on when I implemented that knowledge at work and at international competitions, achieving international medals.”, quoted Michail.

An interesting fact about Michail is that aside from IT, he also enjoys playing the piano in his spare time, as it allows him to relax and enjoy the finest pleasures in life by both entertaining himself and anyone else who might happen to be listening. IT plays a significant role in his life, and he is excited to begin his journey through the world of tertiary education at RMIT University.

Samuel lives in the western suburbs of Victoria. He completed Specialist Mathematics at the age of 16, thus enhancing his ability to cognitively challenge himself in ways that would not seem standard. Although his first language is Arabic, he speaks fluent English and Iraqi. The education he has completed thus far is a rather paramount factor in his identity; this is due to the extensive proportion of time he exhausted throughout the preceding three years on it. In addition, when he is not studying, he enjoys playing the violin and riding his bike. These recreational leisures allow him to reap the benefits of the wonderful things given to us in life and ease his mind of the tension that so commonly takes it captive.
